BOOKEND CAFÉ
CREATED WITH ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, LIGHTROOM, INDESIGN, AND A FUJIFILM X-S1
This project involved creating and branding a fictional café. We were to create a concept, logo, menu, and business card as part of the branding kit. The Bookend Café is a place that combines the love of reading through anonymous book swaps, with a typical coffee house setting to read, work and relax in.
LOGO DESIGN
Pictured above are the Bookend Café's business card and variations of its logo applied to real-life items, bringing the fictional café to life.

LAYOUT DESIGN (MENU)
For the menu, I decided to further tie in the reading theme by naming the dishes served at the Bookend Café after famous authors or fictional characters. After creating all the menu items, I shot photographs of recipe ingredients using a Fujifilm XS-1 camera, which I later edited in Lightroom. Finally, I put all the material together to create the final version together in Adobe InDesign.
