The Swiss International Design, also known as the International Typographic Style is a type of design that originated from Russia, the Netherlands and in Germany during the 1920s and was later refined and developed in the 1950's by designers in Switzerland. This unique style can be recognized by its asymmetrical layouts, the prominent use of grids and the use of sans-serif fonts and left-align text.
