Junior graphic and web artist as well as a second year student in the graphic and web design program at John Abbott College.
I am a junior graphic artist who is constantly inspired by the evolving world of graphics and the web. At the moment, my style is defined by keeping things simple and minimalistic. My favorite areas (so far) in this career include photography, drawing/art, illustration, and publication.
Personally, I am humble, and my friends say I'm cute (perhaps somewhat like a daisy?). I live for food, the really good delicious foods, especially the ones that are sweet. It's one of the reasons I love to bake and cook. I love all forms of wildlife and like enjoying the outdoors. Side hobbies of mine include sleeping, volunteering at my church, watching movies and TV shows, as well as reading books and novels.
As mentioned in the section above, I have my favorite areas when it comes to graphic and web design. These areas include web design, publication, drawing/art, photography and illustration. You can read more details below as to why some of these areas of design are my favorite.
I really like the whole process of designing a website. It's fun to find which colors work together and what style works best with the content of the site. I really enjoy coding, it's like a puzzle when building the base of the website.
I really like coming up with posters and book cover designs because of the process as a whole. From formatting the layout to choosing colors and fonts that best display the message for the intended reader, it's digitally 21st century art.
I love taking portrait pictures and really anything found in the great outdoors. This is art in one of it's most simplistic forms, however the challenge comes in finding ways to be different and in order to take a great mesmerizing photograph.
