A Bit of History
Nami Bar was founded in 2019 for one sole purpose; to bring a different aesthetic to traditional Japanese bars. We wanted the place to look welcoming, yet also different. The name Nami Bar is inspired from the famous painting The Great Wave off Kanagawa. The painting pictures a a huge wave crashing onto the coast. Nami Bar wanted to recreate this tranquil, yet powerful scene in their restaurant. The bar provides you with a sense of fun and security.

Nami Bar focuses on Japanese culture and traditions. That's why there is different nights to represent a part of Japanese culture during the month. On some nights, our staff wears kimonos on another they cook right in front of you, and another we have an 80's night.
