ABOUT ME
My Graphic design journey started when I was in high school. When I was in 9th grade, I was in the drama club concentration at school and for the show we were supposed to present, someone had to design a poster so we can get publicity. Of course I chose to be the poster designer even though I knew nothing about graphic design at the time! Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 came with the computer I used at the time, so that was my only resource when it came for designing. The poster ended up being a disaster, but I was still very proud of myself because it was my first attempt of creating a poster.
Going forward onto 11th grade, I applied for the technical program at John Abbott College called Publication Design and Hypermedia Technology (now called Graphic and Web Design) hoping that I would get accepted into the program. Guess what? I did! So in August 2013 my first semester began.
When I entered college, I very excited. The Graphic & Web Design seemed very fun and the people seemed amazing. Quickly, we became a big family! Projects would start right at the beginning of the semester and right away, I fell in love with the program. During my three years there, I designed posters, websites, brochures, full identity fictional companies, jewel cases, books and much more.
