Let me introduce myself.

My name is Kristina Campeau, and I am currently finishing up my studies in Graphic & Web Design at John Abbott College. When I first started this program, I didn't really know what to expect. What I've learned throughout the past three years is that I have truly found my passion within design.

Ever since I was a kid, I've always been more interested in the creative activities. I always chose art classes over the other choices that were offered, and liked colouring and making plenty of crafts. In high school, I started taking art more seriously when I realized that I could eventually make a career out of what I loved to do. I looked into joining the fine arts program at first, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After doing some research, I found this program and knew that this would spark my interests better than anything else would, since it's a combination of my favourite things.

During the past three years, I have realized that I enjoy both Web and Print design, but I see myself working in the Print industry later on in the future. I like doing projects such as stationary sets, posters, book covers, and would eventually like to learn more about packaging.

After John Abbott, I intend some time off to work full-time in order to save up for University. When my finances permit me, I would love to attend the Honours Design program at York University in Toronto.
