Born in the Montréal area, I was actually raised in Florida since I was two years old. It wasn’t until high school that I found out about Graphic and Web Design. I was able to take four courses (two each for Digital Design and Web Design) and learn all about Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash. My career path was set when I realized that even though I was working on graphic and web design all day at school, I would still come home and practice on our little Compaq desktop.

In 2012, I was finally able to move back up to Canada and started attending John Abbott College. I spent three years in the hands-on program Publication Design and Hypermedia Technology (PDHT) or as it’s now known as Graphic & Web Design. We were educated by a variety of teachers in the Adobe Creative Suite on both Mac and Windows operating systems. During our last semester, we will be attending Stage where we are sent to work for companies in the field we had spent three years studying for. I’m planning on giving it my all to be hired so that I can start right away.

After years of waiting to finally start my life, I’m anxious to move forward and make the best of myself. Through this portfolio, I will show that I have the skills and knowledge to make a successful career and will prove to be a worthy investment.
