Who am I?
If you’re reading this, it means you care about who I am and what I’m actually like. I’m flattered. Spoiler: I’m not a crazy whiz-kid. I’m just a normal guy that loves great design, in whatever medium it comes.
So, I’ll start at the beginning.
I’ve always been a little bit obsessed with letters and illustration. When I was younger I was one of those kids that wrote his name on everything and anything I could. Doodling was my favorite part of every class.
I grew up living in the country, but have always had a fascination with cities and urban environments. Having both of those influences has given me both perspectives, and I can't imagine it any other way. I love graffiti and street art, and let it have a lot of influence on my work. I like to do lettering, calligraphy, and black book graffiti in my spare time, as well as classic illustration. Typography and lettering is where a lot of that influence comes through, but I lot of the imagery I use is reminiscent of the wonders of nature, especially the forest.
My goal is work somewhere where I will have a variety of different types of design to do, and work with others to bring to life ideas through great design. I love hearing others thoughts, seeing things from their perspective, and working to create something awesome with them. As long as I’m growing, improving, and learning, I’ll be happy!
