My name is Elona Lagendyk. I am based in Montréal, Quebec. I am a third year Graphic and Web design student at John Abbott College located in the West Island of Montréal. I am a highly motivated and friendly person who loves working with others to bring our creativity together.
Art has been my passion since I was young; I have always been the kid who was constantly working on something artistic. My mother is a graphic designer so I was introduced the profession at a young age. Watching her drawings come to life on a computer always fascinated me. Throughout high school, I always took art class but never had as much fun as I did when I was creating art on the computer. In grade 11, while debating whether or not to go into visual arts, I was introduced to the graphic and web design program and I instantly knew it was the program for me.
In general, I do not have a specific style. I have a little bit of everything mixed into my work. I do prefer psychedelic art pieces, or anything out of the ordinary. Although I also enjoy creating pieces that are very clean and minimal. As they sometimes say, less is more.
I am currently learning all Adobe software’s but my strengths are in Photoshop CC, InDesign CC and Illustrator CC.
I am a highly motivated, articulate, and friendly individual who enjoys working with others.
