Zombie Lion — ZL is a character designed from a plush toy I had purchased, then modified to make undead. I loved the character so much I began sketching him and refining the design until I came up with this final version I tried to make the style of this illustration match his positive and playful nature. ZL never lets his limitations or zombie nature get him down.

Collage of Mr.Squish envelope, brochure, business card and letter — Mr. Squish is a plush sewing company I invented for a project. The mascot was based on an actual plush fish I sewed from my own pattern. The target audience is children, their parents and people who are fans of cute things.

Close up of a cute dog — I love animals and jump on any chance to capture their personality through close up photography. They may be simple headshots but they become unique and interesting images because each animal has a distinct personality and presence on camera.

Chicken with heart, reads 'factory farming: Information and how to help' — I designed an info booklet about Factory Farming for earth day at John Abbott College. I decided to make it minimalistic and hopeful. Feeling that a hopeful feeling would engage more people than a cynical and dark design. You can download, share and print the PDF. Cute painting of a yellow headed amazon — Taking up painting was one of the best thing I have ever done. It was based on an original photo took at the "Salon de la photo". I learned techniques and how to properly use a fan brush to add detail and simulate the texture of feathers.

Mr. Squish Poster

Because the company is geared towards a younger audience, I wanted to do something fun and simple. Which is why I decided to draw another plush character who would be thinking about Mr. Squish.

a cute husky howling — This was a logo I made for a friend for her youtube channel and facebook page where she shares moments with her dog gallie. I used one of her images (with permission of course0 to make a logo based on Gallie. She is very satisfied. Click here to see their page.

Business cards

My log, the falcon represents speed and contrast (a design concept). So I used an illustration of mine of a falcon for te back to match. I thought it would make a difference from the traditional card to switch the orientation from the front to the back. It also made it a more readable for for the information I needed on it.

head of a smiling dragon — I thought warm colours would complement a dragon face. I also did not want to make the dragon look menacing so I added a smile to make it a friendy dragon. I had it printed on a shirt and I enjoy this design a lot. Image credit goes to Claude Rail.
