What about me? Are you curious about my education? Well I will have two degrees from John Abbott College in a few short months. I'm sure you were expecting the Graphic and Web Design degree, but I also have a Liberal Arts degree. I am interested mainly by print assignments (business cards, posters, brochures) as I can combine photography with graphics and typography to try to produce something eye-catching and memorable.
Or maybe you were wondering about my work ethic and work experience. I consider myself to be a hard worker who does her work as efficiently as possible, unafraid to ask questions, and prepared to work as hard as possible to achieve her goals. I have done plenty of volunteering at my church, whether it be helping in teaching children or being on the graphics team. For the past five years I have been working at Manchu Wok as a server, and in the last year have been an assistant manager. I am used to having to readjust quickly to a new situation, be dependent on my own skills to problem-solve, and being stretched out of my comfort zone.
My Ambitions after Stage
I am looking for a full-time job after this program as I think that real world experience is crucial in furthering my skills as a designer. I never want to limit myself, but be open to new experiences and new learning opportunities.
