Rachel Dallaire is an aspiring artist who hopes to become a graphic designer in the near future. She has been studying in Graphic and Web design program at John Abbott College for three years now and is pursuing her career after she graduates. She decided to join this department after her aunt introduced her work to Dallaire in Las Vegas. After seeing the work her aunt was completing for various companies such as Wynn, Cirque du Soleil, etc. she knew she wanted to take part in this work.

Dallaire always knew she liked editing photographs and turning raw images into a creative project but did not believe her hobby could turn into a job. However, this became her lifework.

The program she is taking part in right now included a full package of Publication and Web design, branding, photography and Photoshop. This is when she also discovered her love for photography. Photography became part of her as a person, it was a way for her to appreciate and capture the inner beauty of life and people, even when the reality isn’t so nice. In addition, it was also a way for her to see the world in multiple different perspectives. She developed this love more and more after meeting a few professional photographers. Rachel hopes to follow this path after she graduates and make it a side job while she is in university. After university is when she will begin her journey in the Graphic Design department.
