My Ambitions after Stage
About Me
I consider myself to be a very straightforward person, I’m optimistic and open to new ideas like my art style. I’m very caring and patient with others, and when it comes to my work, I like to take my time because I’m passionate and have high expectations of myself. I like to set goals because it helps me stay organized and motivated in all aspects of my life.
Stage
As for my goals regarding the stage, I would like to find a part-time job that is in a group environment. All my previous freelance projects have been individual jobs, which weren't an issue for me. But if I had the option, I would work in a team because I find my social and technical skills come out the most. When it comes to fitting in with the team itself, I have no major preferences. Large or small, I'm comfortable adapting to my peers and surroundings. This could also help me improve my ability to communicate in French.
Future
I plan on continuing my education in graphic design before searching for a full-time job. I told myself before coming to John Abbott college that I want to learn as much as possible. Not only to increase my knowledge but create more opportunities for myself in the future as a vector artist.
Dream Job
My dream job was/is to be a YouTuber/Video Editor/Animator or a content-creator. I've always been a fan of animation and vector art since I was a kid. So, for me to do that as a living would be a dream. I've come to understand that a lot happens behinds the scenes to make projects work and come together. Successful content-creators that work in teams tend to have strong chemistry. They understand the strengths and weaknesses of themselves and their peers and work off each other to grow. As for the individual content-creators, they understand how to market themselves. They either use social media platforms to advertise their work or they let their work speak for itself. Any stage that can replicate either of these environments would be very helpful to me.
