For Print
First of all, I’d like to present the company I invented for the 2015 Trade Fair event at John Abbott College. Below you can see the company logo and name. We were allowed to invent any brand of our choosing for this assignment. I made a tech company specialized in electronic engineering, with an emphasis on renewable energy and conservation.
A promo card was made for Aiakos. This could be printed and distributed by mail or at promotional events.
Next we have the front and back of the company brochure. It's a 'gatefold' brochure with a clean design on the front. Product descriptions and services are on the inside. It was put together with the Adobe InDesign software.
Next is a newsletter with similar content to the brochure. Just like the brochure, some graphic elements were made with Adobe Illustrator and everything was combined in Adobe InDesign.
Here we have a different company created for a 'business proposal' project. The assignment involved a 20 page proposal explaining various details of how I would start a freelance company. The theme is creative freedom, represented by the wing-shaped symbol on the right.
This is a simple logo for a pharmacy website. Illustrator is the best software for this kind of design.
For the design shown below, we were asked to recreate the Graphic & Web Design program brochure. This is my interpretation, a Z-fold created in InDesign.
And now for something completely different. This is an alien creature made using Illustrator. We, the students, were asked to be as imaginative as possible with our characters. It was not a problem if I made it ugly or strange, so I did just that. This character was also used in a short Flash animation later on.
For Web
I have 3 different websites to show you, each one representing a different brand. They were made with e-commerce in mind, that is to say they sell products to customers. Aiakos is the electrical engineering company mentioned above.
Lifecycle is a non-profit which teaches sustainable farming practices, helping farmers produce more food while also reducing their impact on the environment.
Lastly we have i-Fictional, a minimalist website which sells used books.
