About Me

Hello, my name is Michael, and I am a Graphic and Web designer. I’ve always loved the complexities of design as well as the science behind specific design choices that control the influence that the end product conveys.

I work quickly, I am a fast learner and I’m always opened to learning new things to add to my repertoire.

My specialties are logos, menus, brochures, posters. I love print as well as digital art, I believe those play into my strength. I’ve done graphic work for restaurants which is one of the main reasons I love print.

Logos are my primary specialty; their importance puts a lot of pressure on any designer which forces us to think outside the box.

A Glimpse Into the Future

One day, I would like to start my own company with an idea that I’ve had planned out since I was young. I would like to work and gather experience and connections, specifically in video game companies. I love the environment that video game companies have in terms of their offices and layout, as well as the community of people working there. Graphic Design firms are also an ideal location for me. I have always had a strong passion for design as well as dealing with clients which would make me a great fit for these companies.

In 5 years, I see myself either rising in the ranks at a company through skill and determination or finally starting my own business and getting it off the ground.

My Skills

Over the past 3 years at John Abbott, I’ve become fluent in the Adobe CC Suite as well as HTML/CSS. My freelance work has helped me gather even more knowledge with these programs.

My favorite software to use are: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, as well as WordPress, and Elementor Visual Builder. I feel the most comfortable with these programs as I’ve spent the most amount of time on them!

My Goal for Stage

Working in a creative environment in order to soak in as much knowledge as I can during my 3-week stage is a must for me! I’m ready to work hard and I am more hungry and determined than ever. I want to dedicate as much effort as possible in order to make a difference in the short time that I am there. I am looking forward to my time in the work field and can’t wait for this new chapter!
