Page design, digital Illustration, and photography are the areas of web design that I am very enthusiastic about. All of which I have learned extensive advantageous skills for. My name is Kevin Willem Maurits and I am a graduating Graphic and Web Designer. I am focused and delighted to be given the chance to express myself creatively. I want to show my exact brand of simplistic and modern designs.
The freedom of creativity in designing is what appeals to me the most because of the possibilities that one simple idea may bring.
Expertise/Field
Indesign and Illustration caught my eye instantly and I am very fond of the programs. I am intrigued in photography and using Adobe Lightroom. As well, I also know my way around HTML and CSS but I want to continue to better myself. When entering the work industry I hope to involve myself in fashion. This is something I am passionate about and have a desire to create and design works of art. I am very keen on learning new skills as a designer and continue to acquire knowledge. It will be an amazing experience to express myself in both fields.
Studies
I have been at John Abbott for the past 3 years studying Graphic & Web Design, from which I have learned many new skills to better myself as a Designer. I am looking forward to continuing my education at Concordia University but I also have an open mind to get into the workforce right away. Personally I thrive on finding visual solutions to new designs and GWD allows me to stretch my creativity.
I am confident in my ability to create taking new ideas to places as I engage and pay attention to details. I am looking forward to what the near future holds for me whether it be page design, digital Illustration or photography.
